K&N Typhoon Short Ram Intake 2008-12 STI / WRX

K&N is proud to introduce their Typhoon short ram intake system for the 2011 STI. This intake features a mandrel bent aluminum intake pipe coated black and a K&N cone filter, a trusted name in performance air filtration for decades. The K&N intake system also utilizes a heat shield designed to keep ambient engine heat away from the filter, allowing for a more dense intake charge than conventional short ram intakes. This unit deletes the restrictive factory air box and is designed to increase airflow pre-turbocharger, a concept that is key to making more power in any performance vehicle. K&N has produced some very impressive numbers with their Typhoon line of intakes, gaining up to 14.28whp on an otherwise stock STI.
