Cobb's SF Legacy GT Intake system utilizes several unique features in an effort to maintain optimal flow for performance while minimizing turbulence that can cause engine management problems. Cobb's straightener grid is specifically designed to smooth the incoming air flow as it passes the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor for precise readings. This eliminates the "dead spots" caused by intake turbulence.

In order to provide a Legacy GT intake system that looks as good as it functions, Cobb utilized a one-piece plastic high-temperature composite plastic body. Not only does this save weight, it also prevents heat soak, keeping incoming air cooler. You will not find a more researched & developed short ram intake for your Legacy GT than the Cobb SF.
